Michael Dixon and Viszion shower praises at concert

Gospel group Michael Dixon and Viszion, ministered to the Prairie View and Houston community at their 3rd annual concert this past Sunday, in the Opal Johnson-Smith auditorium.

With Viszion being at a point in their career where they might have decreased in size, they have maintained however, their love for ministry and increased their musical ability. The concert titled, “Up Close-and Personal,” truly gave the audience a chance to be up close and personal with the group members, while Dixon opened up the show with many testimonies and intimate breaks throughout the night.

Opening the show, Viszion performed two brand new lively and up-beat songs, “Come Back” and “One.” Brittany Ardoin, member of the Gospel group James Fortune and Fiya, was one of two guest performers. Ardoin sang the lead during “Don’t Worry,” a song about relying on God and his word, without going through your days with worry and doubt. “Bee has such a powerful and annointed voice. We just felt blessed to be able to have her join us on stage and minister,” tenor and group member Leroy Cook said. Also joining Viszion on stage was Minister James Mable, leading “God is Able.” Audience members were able to purchase five dollar sample CDs of a few of Viszions songs, and can also expect a full CD sampling of all of Viszions hard work and music very soon.

Overall, this concert was one that exemplified the movement and grace of God’s presence, through music and worship, and blessed everyone who was in attendance.
